Our Story

Global Stack began with a simple conversation.

Nearly six years ago, a close friend of mine, a helicopter pilot, said something that changed my perspective forever:

“If there’s a major earthquake in California, I’m getting my family out with my helicopter.”

That moment made me stop and ask myself a difficult question: Are we all living with a false sense of security? Could our emergency systems realistically reach every community when a major disaster strikes?

As I looked deeper, I realized the challenge wasn’t a lack of commitment, it was a lack of resilient infrastructure already positioned where people live.

Later, while producing events at California’s fairgrounds, I saw something others had overlooked. These public assets represented hundreds of acres of strategically located land throughout the state. They needed sustainable revenue, and California needed stronger emergency resilience.

That realization became the foundation of Global Stack.

Our vision is to create a true public-private partnership that serves communities every day while standing ready for the moments that matter most. During normal operations, these sites support commercial mobility, innovation, and economic activity that generates long-term revenue for local fairgrounds. During emergencies, the very same infrastructure transforms into evacuation hubs, triage centers, resilient communications nodes, and logistics centers for first responders.
