A former California State Assembly Majority Leader, he has held senior roles across state and local government, including chairing the California Transportation Commission and the Assembly Health Committee. His work spans energy, climate, healthcare, infrastructure, transportation, taxation, tribal gaming, and emerging industries.

Emile Haddad is a real estate executive, entrepreneur, and civic leader known for developing large-scale communities across California. After serving as Chief Investment Officer of Lennar Corporation, he founded FivePoint Holdings in 2009 and led the company as Chairman and CEO through its 2017 public offering. His career spans real estate, housing, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development, complemented by leadership roles with USC, UCI, City of Hope, and statewide initiatives. Haddad’s contributions have earned numerous business, civic, and industry honors.

Mark S. Ghilarducci is a nationally recognized executive and advisor with more than 40 years of experience in emergency management, critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, and crisis leadership. As former Director of Cal OES, he led California’s response to major disasters and advanced statewide systems for earthquake warning, emergency communications, cybersecurity, and wildfire intelligence. He now advises public- and private-sector leaders through Emergent Global Solutions and serves on the boards of the National Fire Protection Association and California State University System.

Josh Metz is currently the CMO of Sesh Nicotine (previously Head of Marketing at Tinder, CMO of ZitSticka), and has experience building globally recognized consumer brands across nicotine, skincare, and dating, three categories governed by advertising restrictions, platform bans, and claims scrutiny.
